Zex Bilangilangi, the Ugandan artist and creative activist. Raised in the slums of Kamwokya, Kampala, Zex Bilangilangi, known by his real name Mayega Tadeo B., embarked on his music career at the age of 17 with a noble goal of bringing about positive change in the ghettos through his talent. Collaborating with numerous charities, Zex caught the attention of Bobi Wine, the renowned Ghetto President, during a talent search event. This led to his recruitment into Bobi Wine’s Fire Base Crew, a music label celebrated for edutainment, positive messages, and inspiring artistry. Within the crew, Zex holds a prominent position and was bestowed with the title of Ghetto Prime Minister by Bobi Wine himself.
Since then, Zex has become an influential figure, particularly among young people residing in resource-limited ghetto areas of Uganda. His story serves as an inspiration to countless individuals, showcasing the power of determination and artistic expression. Today, Zex proudly serves as the official ambassador for Collusion Network in Uganda, a charitable organization dedicated to breaking down barriers for young people through various projects, including music.
